As a Career Counsellor, you will provide career and employment counselling to Albertans returning to employment or school. The work includes developing career plans, facilitating group-learning workshops, and assessing skills, barriers, education, and experience. You will also research the Alberta labour market and coordinate employment supports.
Key Responsibilities: Provide career and employment counselling to Albertans
Facilitate essential skills and employment preparation workshops
Assess transferable skills, barriers, education, and employment history
Complete resumes, cover letters,



and mock interviews
Develop and manage individualized service plans
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Social Sciences or related field
Career counselling and job development or placement experience
Understanding of Alberta labour market and educational programming
Intermediate to advanced computer skills
Security background check required
