We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer with at least 2 years of experience to join a civil and commercial litigation practice in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will independently manage files from inception through trial, have courtroom experience, and be interested in developing their practice within a flexible, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Manage civil and commercial litigation files from start to finish, including trial preparation and representation.

Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their interests.

Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and other litigation documents.

Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Manage an independent caseload while collaborating with colleagues.





Identify opportunities to develop a practice and contribute to the growth of the litigation department.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of litigation experience.

Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.

Demonstrated courtroom and client representation experience.

Solid legal drafting and communication skills.

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.

Ability to manage files independently from inception through trial.

Dynamic, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative.

Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Interest in practice development and client relationship management.
