This Asphalt Shingle Roofer position focuses on shingled roofs within the green economy sector. You will install or replace asphalt, wood, and masonry or baked clay roofing materials. The work also includes erecting scaffolding, falsework, and other platforms. Responsibilities take place in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting, with bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks, and pressure involved. Solid oral communication, dependability, client focus, and teamwork are identified as important qualities.
Key Responsibilities: Install asphalt shingles on sloped building roofs
Replace wood shingles and shakes as required




Install masonry or baked clay roofing tiles
Erect scaffolding, falsework, and working platforms

Requirements: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
Five years or more of roofing experience
Ability to work at heights and outdoors
