Build Make-A-Wish Canada’s Atlantic Canada presence through media relations and social content. This full time hybrid contract is based in Dartmouth.
As Communications Coordinator, you will support the brand and integrated marketing team. You will create audience-focused materials, coordinate regional plans, and maintain media relationships. The position supports communications that build brand awareness across Atlantic Canada.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate regional communications and marketing plans
Create social content, wish stories, speeches, and press releases
Identify media opportunities and distribute media pitches
Coordinate interviews and support event media engagement
Maintain photo, video, and story archives
Requirements: Post-secondary communications, marketing, or public relations education
One to three years of related experience
Experience building journalist and stakeholder relationships
Experience developing communications plans, strategies, and tactics
Working knowledge of social platforms and communications software
Bring media relations, social media, and communications planning skills to Make-A-Wish Canada’s Dartmouth-based hybrid team.
