Drive Brookes students safely during after-school activities and departures, using a current BC Class 4 or Class 2 Driver's License. This casual school-year schedule generally runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
As a Casual School Bus Driver, you will transport students for activities, field trips, and travel-period airport pickups. The work includes vehicle inspections, cleaning, regulatory compliance, and communication with the Transportation Team. On-the-job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities: Safely drive students to school activities and field trips
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection reports
Communicate concerns to the Transportation Supervisor
Clean and maintain all six Brookes vehicles
Attend Transportation Team meetings as required
Requirements: Current BC Class 4 or Class 2 Driver's License
Annual driver's abstract
Successful Ministry Criminal Record check
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
Explicit communication with students, parents, and school staff
Support safe student transportation at Brookes through reliable driving, careful inspections, vehicle upkeep, and respectful communication.
