Lead warehouse operations at Ryerson’s Hervo St branch in Winnipeg, using safety leadership and warehouse coordination skills. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

As Lead Hand, you will direct warehouse operatives under the Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor. The position covers order filling, shipping, receiving, stock control, and safe work practices. You will also support planning, equipment inspections, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate assigned staff according to operational directives
- Train and mentor staff across warehouse activities
- Monitor compliance with policies and protected work practices
- Create SAP load plans and receiving updates
- Load and unload trucks for deliveries

Requirements:

- Three to five years of warehouse experience
- Metals industry experience preferred
- Supervisory experience considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and machinery operating experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP experience is an asset
