This permanent position supports repairs across diverse Caterpillar equipment for Finning Canada. The successful candidate troubleshoots, documents technical work, and interacts with customers and internal teams. Journeyperson certification is required, while apprentices may be considered based on experience.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment
Use Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
Complete service, warranty, crossover, and condition reports
Operate bench testing equipment and engine dynos
Support on-site safety requirements and customer service commitments
Requirements: Journeyperson certification in an applicable trade
Apprentices considered based on experience
Safety-conscious, self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented approach
Ability to wear a respirator after fit testing
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Bring heavy equipment repair, Caterpillar systems, and technical documentation skills to Finning Canada’s Tisdale service team.
