Master CNC machining and precision grinding as a General Machinist at Avio Aero, producing aerospace components with tight tolerances.
This full time position reports to the Production Supervisor within Operations. You will manufacture aerospace components through multiple production stages, using CNC platforms, manual inspection tools, and blueprint interpretation. The work requires compliance with customer specifications, AS9100 quality standards, company safety policies, and Ontario OHSA requirements. Shift, overtime, and weekend work may be required.
Key Responsibilities: Operate multiple CNC machine platforms, including multi-axis and mill-turn equipment
Perform precision manual and CNC grinding operations
Manufacture gears through grinding, hobbing, shaping, generating, and skiving




Manage machine setups, tool offsets, and tool life
Achieve productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements: Completion of secondary school
Three to five years of trade work experience
Three to five years of CNC machining experience
Blueprint reading and GD&T; interpretation proficiency
Ability to machine aerospace alloys and maintain tight tolerances
Apply precision machining, inspection, and production expertise to support Avio Aero aerospace manufacturing under rigorous quality standards.
