Support BCAA employees in Burnaby through Workday administration, HR coordination, and accurate People Services support. This Head Office role reports to the Manager, People Services.
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will support employees, leaders, and People & Culture programs across the employee lifecycle. Your work includes HR enquiries, employment changes, onboarding, employee records, and HR data analysis. You will also contribute to compliance and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to enquiries about HR policies, programs, systems, and agreements
Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, offboarding, and exit interviews
Prepare employment offers, agreements, letters, and separation packages
Process Workday transactions and maintain accurate employee records




Improve processes through simplification, automation, and AI-enabled tools
Requirements: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Three or more years supporting employees and leaders in HR
Knowledge of BC employment standards, human rights, and privacy requirements
Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Copilot
Discretion handling sensitive and confidential information professionally
Bring HR coordination, Workday accuracy, employee service, and process improvement skills to BCAA’s People Services team.
