Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing services within the Population Health model
Translate health and social sciences knowledge into health-enhancing behaviours
Support universal and targeted interventions, programs, and advocacy
Offer services in communities, schools, homes, and outreach locations
Apply health promotion and disease prevention knowledge
Requirements: Graduate from an approved school of Nursing
Hold current BCCNM practicing registration
Bring six months recent related public health experience
Hold a current valid BC Driver’s License
Meet transportation requirements for required travel
Apply public health nursing, epidemiology, and community development knowledge while serving Penticton communities through Interior Health.
