Oldcastle seeks an Electromechanic skilled in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and welding for a permanent full time day shift.
Reporting to the Production and Building Maintenance Manager, this Electromechanic maintains production equipment and building systems. The position requires hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and automation knowledge. It also supports equipment installation, utility inspections, and production operators.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust production equipment
Analyze breakdowns and replace defective parts
Maintain HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, and building systems
Participate in new equipment installation and commissioning
Perform welding and maintain an organized workshop
Requirements: Vocational diploma in Electromechanics
Five or more years in a similar role
Practical welding experience
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and automation
Organized, proactive, independent, and analytical work approach
Apply electromechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding expertise while supporting reliable operations at Oldcastle.
