Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a Commercial Account Assistant to join our Small Business Solutions (SBS) Team! The successful candidate will provide administrative support on new and renewal accounts in partnership with Service Consultants to ensure client retention and timely customer service. You are a people person who enjoys building long-lasting relationships with insurance carriers, industry leaders and your colleagues.

You are detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills that will enable you to put together solid solutions for our clients. Work closely with Service Consultants and Small Business Sales Consultants to provide support on policy changes, renewals, new business, proposals, follow ups, binders, slips, finance contracts and scanning documents Manage and respond to emails from Commercial Account Assistant inbox/queue High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset Customer-centric, friendly and professional at all times Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products Previous experience with Epic would be an asset CIP, CAIB, CRM (or working towards designation) would be an asset Proudly independent and Canadian-owned, Cowan Insurance Group has been a true market leader in the insurance industry since 1927.
