Support resident care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Bayfield Manor Retirement in Kemptville, Ontario, working part time on day shifts.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse administers medications, treatments, and assessments for residents. You will support care planning, monitor changing conditions, process physician orders, and uphold nursing practice standards. The position contributes to multidisciplinary meetings and may guide assigned nursing and personal care staff.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications, treatments, and resident assessments
Observe, report, and record vital signs and conditions
Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
Organize restorative and palliative care activities as required
Supervise,



train, and evaluate assigned care staff
Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence
Registration or eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
Current First Aid and BLS Certificate
Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
Negative vulnerable sector check and current two step TB test
Bring nursing assessment, medication administration, and resident care planning skills to Bayfield Manor Retirement’s Kemptville team.
