Build Oracle data pipelines with Java and SQL as a Software Engineer I in Fivetran’s Toronto hybrid office, including two weekly office days.
As part of the Oracle Connector Team, you will build pipeline features, improve architecture, and maintain reliable service operation. You will investigate data replication, analyze Oracle releases, and help develop an ELT solution for Oracle systems. The work supports Fivetran’s data infrastructure for thousands of organizations.
Key Responsibilities: Debug data replication across existing Oracle connector code
Analyze Oracle releases and develop supporting features
Maintain and improve existing connectors and infrastructure
Help move client services to cloud operation at scale
Develop software designs and technical team roadmaps
Requirements: One-plus years programming in Java or C
Ability to write structured, performant code
One-plus years working in cloud environments
One-plus years using infrastructure as code
Experience working in large distributed teams
Apply Java, Oracle, SQL, cloud, and debugging skills to strengthen Fivetran’s reliable connector services in Toronto.
