Senior Live Events Accountant at MLSE applies technical accounting and financial analysis to concerts and entertainment events across iconic venues.
This senior role supports MLSE’s Live Events team through month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and event settlements. You will interpret contractual arrangements, recognize revenue and expenses, analyze event performance, and provide insights for business decisions. Collaboration spans Finance, FP&A;, Ticketing, Venue Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Oversee event settlement accounting and related financial obligations
Analyze event-level results, trends, variances, risks, and opportunities




Prepare reporting connecting results with event activity and costs
Strengthen controls, processes, and financial reporting accuracy
Requirements: Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
Five-plus years of progressive accounting experience
Solid revenue recognition, accrual, and balance sheet knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency with complex reconciliations
CPA designation preferred, or active CPA pursuit with experience
Bring senior accounting expertise, event settlement knowledge, and financial analysis to MLSE’s live entertainment business.
