Our goal is to provide high quality diverse community, home, and individual Mental Health and Addiction Services and to support the long term mental health and wellness of our clients and their families. To support this goal, the Peace River Mental Health and Addiction department has an exciting prospect for an Menta Health Therapist Child/Youth and Adult.

In this role, you will provide mental health assessment, treatment, case coordination, crisis intervention & consultation to adults experiencing psychological, emotional, social, substance misuse or behavioral difficulties. This position may also facilitate groups &/or Walk-In sessions within the Mental Health and Addiction Service portfolio. The therapist works as a member of the multidisciplinary team providing services within the clinic setting as well as working collaboratively with community partners.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Recovery Alberta currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be required to use a variety of treatment modalities (individual, family, and group)



to persons experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Workers must be on the General Registry with the ACSW and has the Practice Enhancements: Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of local Indigenous communities and experience in Indigenous culture.
