Operate snowplow trucks and heavy equipment as a Winter Road Maintenance Operator for Ledcor Highways Ltd. in Fox Creek, Alberta.
This winter seasonal position runs from October 1 to April 30. Operators help maintain Alberta Provincial Highways while working outdoors in changing weather conditions. The work includes highway trucks, wheel loaders, and seasonal maintenance duties.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways throughout seasonal operations
Assist with crack sealing and pothole repair duties
Clean bridges and signage, and remediate hazards
Work outside in all weather conditions
Requirements: Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with air endorsement
Explicit three-year driver’s abstract
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds physically
Snowplow truck or wheel loader experience is an asset
