You will conduct donor registration and confidential screening while supporting safe processing and handling of blood products. The work includes venipuncture, donor monitoring, post-donation care, product labelling, and computer-based accuracy.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct registration and confidential donor screening
Perform venipuncture according to established standards
Monitor donor safety, comfort, and post-donation care
Complete product labelling and prepare blood products
Assist with mobile event equipment setup
Requirements: High school diploma required
Accredited phlebotomy training or one-year related experience
Minimum three years’ public-facing customer service experience
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices
Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems
Support Canadian Blood Services donors through accurate phlebotomy, confidential screening, client service, and safe blood collection in Calgary.
