Support youth with challenging behaviours as a Behaviour Residential Support Worker in Ottawa and the surrounding area. Apply therapeutic rapport and prescribed programming.
This position supports youth and families within quality 24/7 group home settings. The work focuses on individual behavioural needs, comfort, well-being, and daily support. You may support children and young people experiencing autism, mental health, anxiety, ADD or ADHD symptoms, disruptive behaviours, eating disorders, family dynamics, and educational struggles.
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily support within group home settings
Support individual behavioural needs in quality 24/7 homes
Manage challenging and aggressive behaviours
Build therapeutic rapport with youth




Follow prescribed programming and implement life skills
Requirements: Related degree or college diploma
Three to six months working with aggressive behaviours
Experience with autism, mental health, behavioural, and complex needs
Current CPR and First Aid certification
NVCI, G license, vehicle, and Vulnerable Sector Check
Bring behavioural support, therapeutic rapport, and prescribed programming skills to youth residential services in Ottawa and surrounding communities.
