This permanent, full-time position supports design and modelling for small to large platforms. You will create ship and submarine drawings across structural, mechanical, and electrical domains. The work includes surveys, technical assessments, specifications, and standards compliance. BMT delivers practical engineering solutions for safer, more effective, and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and edit ship and submarine 2D and 3D drawings
Apply CAD standards, revision control, and configuration procedures
Conduct surveys and site verification activities




Produce survey reports and incorporate as-fitted details
Provide input to risk assessments and technical specifications
Requirements: College diploma in naval architecture, marine, or mechanical engineering
Minimum five years of relevant CAD and drafting experience
Advanced AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar expertise
Provincial Engineering Technologist certification
Eligibility for Canadian security clearance
