The City of Red Deer seeks a Facility Operations Assistant for recreation facilities. You will maintain cleanliness, monitor facility use, operate powered cleaning equipment, and support safety and security. The work includes communication with patrons, records, reports, and emergency responses.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain recreation facilities and surrounding areas to operational standards
Inspect facilities and report damage or maintenance issues
Operate powered cleaning and floor maintenance equipment safely
Monitor schedules,



facility use, and patron activities
Participate in emergency responses and incident reporting
Requirements: Grade 10 education
Six months related experience, preferably in recreation
Intermediate First Aid certification
Availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and shift work
Ability to respond calmly during emergencies
