Chinook School Division seeks a custodian for 1.00 FTE, working eight hours daily and 40 hours weekly. Duties support students, staff, and the school through cleaning, disinfecting, minor repairs, building maintenance, and seasonal yard work. The position begins as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect daily during student attendance
Complete special cleaning during school breaks
Perform minor repairs and maintenance
Operate snow blowers, lawn mowers, and power scrubbers
Remove snow and mow lawns around school grounds
Requirements: Grade 12 diploma or General Education Development preferred
Cleaning processes, products, equipment, and floor care knowledge
Basic building maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment knowledge
Fireman’s Certificate, First Aid/CPR, or WHMIS, or willingness to obtain
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
Bring dependable cleaning, maintenance, communication, and physical capabilities to support Swift Current Comprehensive High School.
