Manage retail inventory flow at Roots while strengthening replenishment, backroom organization, and merchandise processing in an apparel store environment.
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Stock Manager maintains operational integrity and manages store inventory flow systems. This management role also trains and develops a core stock team. Success requires retail apparel experience, customer awareness, robust presentation skills, and the ability to build buy-in.
Key Responsibilities: Process merchandise receipts promptly and prioritize inventory flow
Organize the backroom according to seasonal company standards
Maintain replenishment across styles, colours, and sizes
Execute receiving, transfers, damages, and compliance procedures
Recruit, onboard, assess, and develop stock associates
Requirements: Two or more years of management experience
Preferably experience in retail apparel
Excellent presentation skills in retail environments
Ability to understand customer needs
Ability to build buy-in for decisions and services
