Hopewell seeks a Support Services Worker for its Residential and Respite Services Team. You will work within a clinical multidisciplinary team using a biopsychosocial model. The position supports children, youth, and adults with complex developmental, physical, and emotional challenges across Guelph-Wellington.
Key Responsibilities: Support independence through daily living programs and meaningful activities
Implement Behaviour Support Plans and collect required data
Provide personal care, household assistance, and transportation
Observe and report behavioural and physical changes




Communicate professionally with individuals, families, and team members
Requirements: Experience with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs
University or college degree or diploma in a relevant field
Valid Class G driver’s license
Preferred one year developmental sector experience
Knowledge of First Aid, CPR, CPI, and WHMIS
Bring compassionate daily living support, behaviour plan implementation, and skilled communication to Hopewell’s Guelph-Wellington services.
