Support production equipment reliability as a licensed Industrial Millwright 433A at Smurfit Westrock’s Milton manufacturing facility. Apply troubleshooting and preventative maintenance expertise across rotating shifts.
This licensed Industrial Millwright 433A works within the maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Manager. The position supports preventative, predictive, and troubleshooting activities for corrugated box production equipment. PLC programming, String Control experience, technical knowledge, and manufacturing experience are required considerations. Electrical experience is an asset, while the schedule supports a 24/7 operation through rotating day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine maintenance requirements
Respond to breakdowns affecting equipment, facilities, and buildings




Maintain preventative maintenance checks and lubrication programs
Maintain boiler, heating, steam, and energy systems
Support equipment installation, design, and occupational safety programs
Requirements: Licensed Industrial Millwright 433A qualification
High school diploma and technical knowledge
PLC programming and String Control experience
Three to five years in Canadian manufacturing
Availability for rotating four-on, four-off day and night shifts
Bring root-cause troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and PLC experience to Smurfit Westrock’s Milton maintenance team supporting continuous production.
