Pipeworks Plumbing & Gas is a locally owned residential plumbing company based in Victoria, BC. We specialize in residential plumbing and gas work, and we’re looking for apprentices/journeymen who want to build a solid career in the trade. We have been operating in the greater Victoria area for over a decade and have loads of work planned.

Level 2–4 Plumbing Apprentices and Journeypersons

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Valid driver’s license

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in plumbing, construction, and related fields. This role involves installing and laying out plumbing and water systems to code, working alone and with a team, reading blueprints, and designing/installing gas systems.

We focus on new construction single family homes and townhomes. We work in various areas,



primarily Sooke, Langford, and Colwood.

Responsibilities

- Install plumbing systems, including water systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools to perform plumbing tasks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for installations and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment at all times.
- Layout and install plumbing and water systems to code
- Layout and install gas systems to code

Qualifications

- Proven experience in plumbing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, and construction practices is a plus.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.
- A valid driver's license
