As part of ParaMed’s home and community care team, you will support patients during weekdays and alternating weekends. Your work includes personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and companionship. The position requires compassion, reliability, flexibility, and travel between patient residences.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with skin, hair, oral, bathing, and toileting care
Provide peri-care while supporting patients’ daily independence
Prepare nutritious meals, snacks, and special diets
Complete basic housekeeping tasks for patients
Provide companionship that supports quality of life
Requirements: Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate
Compassionate approach when interacting with patients
Reliability and flexibility for scheduled care
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
