Support protected, welcoming senior living with routine repairs and minor maintenance at Cogir Senior Living. Deliver respectful customer service to residents.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Assistant handles facility and equipment repairs. The work includes electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds maintenance. This position also requires safety inspections, reporting, housekeeping, and trust with vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities: Execute routine repairs on facility equipment and building systems
Paint, perform minor carpentry, and maintain exterior grounds
Inspect premises for maintenance and safety concerns regularly
File required reports with the Maintenance Manager
Follow facility policies, safety rules, and working practices
Requirements: Follow oral and written instructions in English
Work independently and self regulate daily tasks
Move heavy objects and perform necessary physical duties
Carry out minor repairs to facilities and equipment
Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check or obtain one
Apply maintenance, safety inspection, and customer service skills while supporting Cogir residents and senior living operations.
