As part of Central Registration, you will support patients across diagnostic services and specialty clinics. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to support effective patient information and flow across CGMH programs.
Key Responsibilities: Register patients in Meditech and update electronic charts accurately
Obtain OHIP, WSIB, and uninsured payment information
Screen patients for IPAC and Falls Prevention queries
Generate labels, charts, and registered visit armbands
Operate cashier functions and the switchboard as requested
Requirements: OSSD or equivalent qualification
Previous hospital or health care clerical experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Proficient typing and Microsoft Office computer skills
Demonstrated excellent customer service ability
