As a Mechanical Layout Designer, you will support plant upgrades and new facilities across heavy industrial and mining projects. You will prepare three-dimensional models, layout arrangements, process diagrams, and site plans through detail. The work involves reviewing designs, coordinating disciplines, and applying consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare three-dimensional models for plant upgrades and current facilities
Develop layout general arrangements and equipment models
Review vendor drawings before fabrication
Prepare calculations, design briefs, and trade-off reports




Coordinate design information across disciplines
Requirements: College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent
Eight or more years designing heavy industrial layouts
Experience with mining projects and consulting
Proficiency with Plant3D, Revit, Microstation, SolidEdge, and SmartPlant
Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
