Apply advanced Excel and derivatives expertise as a Senior Analyst supporting RBC’s confirmation operations in Toronto. Focus on accurate trade processing and risk control.
This Senior Analyst provides product support within RBC’s Derivatives Confirmations Group, covering Commodities and/or FX/FX Options. The work centers on trade confirmation and static data management. You will help mitigate operational risk between RBC and counterparties while supporting Trading, Sales, and internal partners. The position requires three to five years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities: Draft and issue trade confirmations under Standing Order Policy
Compare confirmations with counterparty documents and legal provisions
Investigate discrepancies and escalate unresolved confirmation issues
Perform reconciliations for accurate, complete data
Review regulatory reporting obligations for CFTC and ESMA compliance
Requirements: Three to five years of relevant experience
University degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Knowledge of foreign exchange and commodity derivatives
Knowledge of ISDA documentation definitions and market practices
Bring confirmation control, regulatory awareness, and analytical Excel skills to RBC’s derivatives operations team in Toronto.
