As an Intermediate Mechanical Designer, you will support Spencer Engineering, BESTECH’s specialized mine hoist division. Apply mechanical design skills across hoist modernization, assessment, maintenance, and recent system projects. Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Designers, and Technologists while developing expertise in a specialized discipline.
Key Responsibilities: Develop mechanical drawings, scopes, and bills of materials
Perform drafting using AutoCAD, Inventor, and MicroStation
Conduct site visits for data collection and verification
Complete QAQC reviews and maintain technical records




Coordinate tasks with project teams and track progress
Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or related education
Four to seven years of relevant experience
Familiarity with drafting and design software tools
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s licence and passport for North American travel
Build specialized mine hoist expertise through mechanical design, field visits, documentation, and multidisciplinary project coordination at BESTECH.
