Ledcor Marine seeks experienced Tug Masters for its Marine division and large marine operation. You will manage vessel and crew operations while towing barges and supporting ship assists. The position requires knowledge of Fraser River tides, bridges, navigation, and operating conditions.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure crew follows Ledcor health, safety, and environmental standards
Control tugboat operations during barge towing and ship assists
Manage daily vessel and crew operations
Coordinate with shore-based teams on efficiency and safety
Perform other duties as required
Requirements: Three to five years’ combined barge and log towing experience
Master 150 GT Domestic Certificate of Competency
Valid Transport Canada Marine Medical Certificate
Marine Basic or Advanced First Aid certification
Fraser River navigation and local waters knowledge
Use proven tug handling, towing, leadership, and communication skills as a Tug Master on Fraser River operations with Ledcor Marine.
