Lead monthly consolidation and close activities for Brookfield Renewable, using advanced Excel and financial reporting expertise. This position requires on-site work at least four days weekly.
Reporting to the Manager, Consolidations, the Senior Accountant, Consolidations supports financial statements for BEP and BEPC. The work covers supporting schedules, management reporting, portfolio company reviews, and corporate controls. Solid IFRS knowledge, accounting systems experience, and analytical precision are central to the position.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate monthly consolidation and financial statement close processes
Prepare disclosure schedules and management reporting analysis
Review portfolio company accounting reports for consistency
Maintain SOX-compliant corporate internal control documentation
Support acquisitions, auditors, and process improvement initiatives
Requirements: CPA Canada or CPA US accounting designation
Three to five years with Canadian or US public accounting
Advanced Excel and strong financial systems experience
Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS
Analytical, detail-oriented, and adaptable working style
Apply consolidation, IFRS, advanced Excel, and financial reporting expertise supporting Brookfield Renewable’s BEP and BEPC statements.
