This permanent, full time Systems Administrator works within Innovation & Technology. The position supports large-scale information systems through infrastructure analysis, implementation, testing, documentation, and problem resolution. Key technologies include VMware platforms, Windows Server, Ubuntu Linux, backup services, storage, networking, and identity management.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure effective operation of City IT infrastructure environments
Analyze, implement, modify, test, and document infrastructure systems
Resolve infrastructure problems and support incident response
Develop and test backup and disaster recovery procedures




Support cybersecurity and vulnerability remediation activities
Requirements: University degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and experience
Three years administering infrastructure services in large-scale business systems
Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation and Microsoft Azure
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work occasional off-hours and rotating 7x24 on-call shifts
