Our housekeepers are important members of the home care team and workunder the supervision of theCare Manager. Housekeepers perform various non-personal care services necessary to meet the client’s needs.
Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
Vacuuming
Dusting
Laundry
Mopping
Cleaning Bathrooms
Cleaning Kitchens
Organizing
Meal Preparation
Choice Homecare requires candidates who:
Are proficientin communicatingin English (verbal and written)
Have high school diploma or higher
Have a valid police vulnerable sectors check (completed within the past 12 months) - must
Can work independently under minimal supervision
Have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (completed within the past 12 months) - must
Have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance - must
Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residentsof Canada with a valid work permit with a minimum of six months priorto expiration.
Are available to work every other weekend
Have internet access through a mobile device
Have high energy and drive to deliver excellent service through strong communication skills
Ability to speak other languages is an asset
