Deliver pharmacy care in your community through prescription accuracy, patient counselling, and professional services as a Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacist.
Manage pharmacy operations while on duty, supporting customers, health care providers, and dispensary maintenance. Practice to your full expanded scope within your capability while protecting confidentiality and consent. This Pharmacist role combines prescription dispensing, customer service, workflow oversight, inventory control, and colleague coaching. You will also maintain required records and follow legislation, standards of practice, policies, and controlled-substance requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Provide prescription and over-the-counter product counselling
Ensure accurate and appropriate prescription dispensing




Communicate with health care professionals within the circle of care
Review workflow queues and will-call bins daily
Monitor inventory, medication orders, and expired stock
Requirements: Independent decision-making and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to plan, coordinate, delegate, and coach colleagues
Strong customer relations and skilled service skills
Pharmacy systems knowledge and personal computing skills
Commitment to mandatory training and continuing education
