Scheduling Assistant Casual At Baptist Housing, every day is an prospect to help our seniors experience life well in supportive communities. As the Scheduling Assistant in the Victoria Region, you'll play a key role in coordinating staffing for our long-term care, assisted living, and independent living communities. This is a casual, on-call opportunity with shift times that may include 6:00 a.m.

Hours are offered based on operational needs, and the ideal candidate is flexible and able to work a variety of shifts as required. Reporting to the Scheduling Manager, the Scheduling Assistant is responsible for filling short-call, long-call, and vacation shifts in compliance with collective agreements and established policies. You'll manage scheduling systems, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with leaders and team members to ensure appropriate staffing coverage.

Enter and update data in computerized scheduling and timekeeping systems Audit schedules and timecards for accuracy and make necessary corrections Promote and model Baptist Housing's values and commitment to servant leadership Typing speed of 50 wpm Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong communication, organization, and time management skills You are compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated by a desire to serve. This casual position offers an hourly wage of $30.28 per hour and welcomes you into a warm, supportive environment where your contributions are truly valued and appreciated.
