This Registered Practical Nurse provides total care for a group of palliative care patients within scope of practice. The position supports Person Centred Care and Sunnybrook’s Mission and Values. You will work closely with members of the interprofessional team while applying palliative pain and symptom management experience.
Key Responsibilities: Provide total care for assigned palliative care patients
Practice within the Registered Practical Nurse scope
Support Person Centred Care principles and philosophy
Work closely with the interprofessional team
Apply assessment and symptom management expertise
Requirements: Current Ontario College of Nurses registration
Current B.C.L.S. certification and RPN diploma
Required hospice palliative care experience
Excellent assessment, communication, and problem solving skills
Basic computer and keyboarding skills
Bring palliative care experience, solid assessments, and person-centred practice to Sunnybrook’s interprofessional nursing team.
