As Manager, Operating Room & Surgical Booking Services, you will lead perioperative operations, performance, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Director, Surgical Services, you will oversee teams, surgical access, capacity, and operating room resource utilization. The position supports secure, efficient, high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily Operating Room and Surgical Booking operations
Optimize surgical scheduling, booking, access, capacity, and patient flow
Lead workforce planning, budget stewardship, and resource utilization
Advance quality, patient safety, change, and improvement initiatives




Develop high-performing teams and stakeholder partnerships
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health administration, business, or related discipline
Five years progressive healthcare leadership experience within seven years
Experience leading staffing, scheduling, budgeting, quality, and performance management
Understanding of perioperative services and surgical booking processes
Strong communication, facilitation, financial, and human resource skills
Bring strategic operational leadership, surgical access expertise, and collaborative decision-making to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital’s perioperative services.
