You'll join one of the Niagara Region's most established independent CPA firms, taking ownership of audit and assurance engagements while working directly with Partners and a varied client base.

What you'll be doing: Manage audit and review engagements from planning through completion

Oversee multiple client engagements, budgets and deadlines





Review financial statements, working papers and assurance documentation

Lead audit teams and provide direction throughout engagements

Identify and resolve complex accounting and assurance issues

Work directly with clients, including business owners and senior management

Review staff work and ensure engagements meet professional standards

Mentor and develop junior and senior accountants

Provide technical guidance on ASPE, IFRS and other applicable reporting standards

Work closely with Partners on engagement planning and client matters

Identify opportunities to provide additional accounting and advisory support

Help maintain high standards of client service and audit quality

What they're looking for: CPA designation

5+ years of Canadian public accounting experience

Strong external audit and assurance background

Experience managing audit engagements from planning to completion

Previous experience supervising and reviewing staff work

Strong knowledge of Canadian Auditing Standards

Experience with ASPE and/or IFRS

Comfortable managing multiple engagements and competing deadlines

Solid client communication and relationship management skills

Experience with CaseWare would be useful

Previous Manager experience preferred, although strong Assurance Seniors ready to progress will also be considered
