Job Title: Body Component Engineer (Exterior Lighting DRE)
Location: Windsor, ON
Duration: 1 Year
Work Model: 100% Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Lead exterior lighting component development and design release.
- Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Manage DFMEA, DVP&R;, validation, and engineering changes.
- Ensure compliance with automotive lighting standards, quality, cost, and timing targets.
- Support prototype builds, issue resolution, and production launch.
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of automotive exterior lighting experience.
- Experience with design release processes, CAD (CATIA/NX), and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of LEDs, optics, automotive validation (DV/PV), DFMEA, and DVP&R.;
- Familiarity with FMVSS 108, ECE, or SAE lighting standards.
- Robust communication and problem-solving skills.
