Our client in Oakville is looking for a metal worker to join their team on a full time basis!

Duties

- Utilize aluminum CNC saw, hydraulic shear, drill press, break press & other metalwork tools to cut structural components as needed.
- Lay-out, position, secure & assembly aluminum metalwork products in accordance with production drawings & standard work instructions.
- Construct structural components from raw aluminum material including extrusion & plate aluminum.
- Inspect & measure fabricated components to ensure that they are within the specification provided in the drawings.
- Cut & prepare metalwork components to be consumed as volume stock.
- Analyzing the blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications of the components to be constructed.




- Using welding equipment to fuse structural components.

Requirements

- Experience using a CNC machine
- Welding experience
- Able to read and interpret blueprints

Pay rate

- $22/hour
- Weekly pay every Friday

Shift options

- Day shift: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday
- Weekend Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m Friday/Saturday/Sunday
