Use CPA expertise and public accounting experience as a Senior Accountant supporting Indigenous Services across Canada. Work with clients on financial reporting and audit readiness.
MNP’s Indigenous Services team supports more than 250 Indigenous peoples, groups, and organizations. As a Senior Accountant, you will provide accounting expertise to communities, organizations, businesses, and individuals. The position involves GAAP, Not-For-Profit, and PSAS knowledge, plus client relationships and team mentoring.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
Assist clients with government-required reporting
Assess audit evidence for financial accounts and transactions




Coordinate requirements with Indigenous Services Canada and funders
Organize audit documents and connect with external auditors
Requirements: CPA designation
Two to four years of relevant public accounting experience
Knowledge of GAAP, Not-For-Profit, and PSAS standards
Experience with accounting and tax software
First Nations community experience considered an asset
Bring accounting expertise, reporting knowledge, and client advisory skills to MNP’s Indigenous Services team supporting communities across Canada.
