Discovery Community College seeks an experienced instructor for onsite lab and clinical teaching. You will use the approved HCA curriculum, assess competency development, and mentor students. Orientation and curriculum training are provided.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver instruction in laboratory and clinical settings
Demonstrate, supervise, and evaluate practical healthcare skills
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Reinforce healthcare standards, policies, and secure practices
Collaborate with coordinators, facility staff, and instructors
Requirements: Minimum 2,800 nursing experience hours
Experience including maternity, mental health, or acute care
Current BCCNM registration as LPN, RN, or RDPN
Strong communication and mentorship skills
Recent Canadian long-term care experience or relevant experience
Support future Health Care Assistants through practical instruction, student assessment, mentorship, and safe clinical education in Maple Ridge.
