Certified Millwrights can apply rotating equipment expertise at Syensqo’s Welland Plant, supporting mechanical reliability, safety, and production objectives onsite. The work includes pumps, compressors, piping, and rigging.
This Millwright position carries individual accountability for site HSE, Quality, Productivity, and Manufacturing Excellence objectives. You will maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul plant mechanical equipment. The work covers rotating equipment, piping assemblies, lifting equipment, and basic machining, while supporting Responsible Care standards and Welland Plant practices.
Key Responsibilities: Rig, remove, rebuild, and install rotating equipment
Inspect, lubricate, and assess rotating equipment condition
Troubleshoot equipment and provide corrective recommendations




Work on piping assemblies as assigned
Maintain site lifting equipment and perform basic machining
Requirements: Certified Journeyman Millwright with 433A certification
Extensive rotating equipment maintenance and repair knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot complex rotating equipment arrangements
Knowledge of vacuum, magnetic drive, and mechanical seal pumps
Ability to align shafts and perform major equipment overhauls
Bring certified millwrighting, rotating equipment, piping, and troubleshooting expertise to Syensqo’s Welland Plant maintenance operations.
