This Registered Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists across dental procedures. Responsibilities include dental X-rays, digital images, instrument sterilization, infection control, patient education, chart updates, scheduling, and patient flow. The role emphasizes comfort, strong relationships, ethical conduct, and productive care.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists while maintaining patient comfort
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required




Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
Update charts and educate patients about oral hygiene
Requirements: Registration or certification with the provincial regulatory body or association
Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Ability to follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
