Provide advanced emergency care at Wainwright EMS as an Advanced Care Paramedic, using ALS airway adjuncts and electrical therapy. This temporary full time position includes days and evenings.
Emergency Health Services seeks an Advanced Care Paramedic to assess emergency scenes and patients in Wainwright. You may transport patients between facilities, operate ambulances, administer medications, and lead ALS clinical care. The work includes remote locations, hazardous scenes, and changing weather.
Key Responsibilities: Assess emergency scenes and patients during calls
Administer medications and provide advanced patient care
Use ALS airway adjuncts and deliver electrical therapy
Lead ALS teams during transport or emergency scenes
Stock, maintain,



and equip transport units
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta College of Paramedics ACP registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent
Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
Ability to perform frequent lifting and carrying up to 105 pounds
Support Emergency Health Services with advanced patient care, ALS leadership, transport operations, and vehicle readiness at Wainwright EMS.
