The Laframboise Group seeks a Senior Mechanical Estimator with industrial project experience. You will estimate millwrighting work, interpret construction drawings and P&IDs;, and prepare complete, accurate bids. The position supports projects valued at $10MM or more while coordinating concurrent proposals and documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Study plans and specifications for accurate quantity take-offs
Apply productivity factors, hourly rates, and site conditions
Prepare bid documents meeting RFP requirements
Compare supplier and subcontractor pricing for best value
Perform bid-to-construct comparisons and quantify scope changes
Requirements: 15+ years working and estimating millwrighting industrial projects
Experience with industrial projects valued at $10MM or more
Advanced construction drawing and P&ID; interpretation proficiency
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Expertise with Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, and estimating software
