Apply civil engineering design skills at PHASOR Engineering in Alberta, supporting structural projects within a temporary full-time co-op placement.

This Civil Engineer COOP works with engineers and designers in PHASOR Engineering’s Civil Group. You will develop experience across structural engineering, civil works, Canadian codes, and safety in design principles. The position supports projects from design through commissioning and startup.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work within project teams of engineers and civil designers
- Design steel, concrete, shallow foundations, and deep foundations
- Develop knowledge of site preparation and earthworks
- Support retaining wall design and civil works
- Use STAAD-Pro and potentially AutoCAD for design work

Requirements:

- Current student at an accredited Canadian university
- Enrolled in your university’s co-op program
- Commit to full time temporary co-op employment for eight months
- Commute to the office up to five days weekly
- Complete required backcheck screening before employment
